Assembling Your Spec Clone Engine - Part 2

Drill and tap the valve cover for the pulse line fitting. Tap for 1/8" npt ... (pipe thread)
Note my favorite color nail polish on the fitting threads. Install and snug fitting.


Re-install the valve cover.


Next mount the fuel pump to the top plate. There are several different fuel pumps
that are legal. Take the time to note ... line in ... line out ... and the pulse.


The pump should be oriented appropriately,
for convenience of attaching .. fuel in ... fuel out ... pulse.
**IMPORTANT - We have found pumps that are the opposite IN and OUT configuration.
If you have a problem pumping, switch the lines IN and OUT.
